"On horseback" or as we like to say at Hotel GUT Trattlerhof**** Superior "the happiness of the earth lies on the back of horses". This was the motto when the riding stable was built at the GUTshof. Equestrian sports and the love of horses have always had a special significance at the Trattlerhof and are reflected in the over 370-year history of its existence.

Right next to "Trattlers Einkehr", children's eyes light up at the farm's own pony farm. The four ponies Nanook, Nagona, Elegance and Shakira look forward to lots of grooming & cuddling and love to romp around the spacious course together with visitors and farm guests. Visits to the pony farm are possible daily on request between 10.00 and 17.00 (May to October, and December to Easter - dates according to website & notice board, advance booking requested).

The GUTshof promises holiday experiences of a special kind. One such experience is undoubtedly the atmospheric torchlight hike, during which you stroll together with our horses through the twilight of the holiday idyll Bad Kleinkirchheim. Accompanied by the glow of the twinkling stars, the warming crackle of the torches, the lush green grass under your feet and the good-naturedness of our farm horses, you hike through the valley of the Carinthian Nockberge mountains in a completely new, peaceful way. The hike is rounded off with a campfire at the Trattlers Einkehr hut restaurant.

Trattler's horse-drawn carriage express takes you and your loved ones on a dreamy and contemplative carriage ride through Bad Kleinkirchheim in summer and winter. For all romantics: Since the way to love is through the stomach, the eventful carriage ride for two ends with a candlelight dinner at Trattler's inn.

In Trattler's Einkehr in the centre of Bad Kleinkirchheim, the pizza bakers of tomorrow are trained. At the pizza baking course with Pizzaiolo Rocco, little chefs learn everything they need to prepare their absolute favourite dish during their holiday at Hotel GUT Trattlerhof & Chalets**** Superior.

For all classic car fans, we also offer the opportunity to explore Bad Kleinkirchheim's surroundings in one of the hotel's six vintage Steyr tractors.

For those who want to work out in other ways besides Bad Kleinkirchheim's numerous hiking & biking possibilities, there are two spacious tennis & beach volleyball courts available free of charge at the Hotel GUT Trattlerhof**** Superior.

Fishing enthusiasts can catch their own fish in the hotel's own fish pond for a small fee and then have it prepared or smoked by the hotel's chef himself. Self-caught fish tastes best - GUTshof recommendation.
